After cancelling a Squamish trip this weekend because of forecast-ed rain on the BC coast a few of us decided to make the most of the weekend expouldering.  Ben O'Connell and I (Pablo Zuleta) went out on Saturday and camped.  After the sun set behind the rock peaks, we started a small fire and began perhaps the second most important activity of the day....... slow roasting a rack of beef ribs.  We had lamb as an appetizer, while the beef ribs cadillac-ed for almost 3 hours.  In addition to the main course, we roasted veggies and washed it all down with several IPAs.

Around 8:30am Sunday morning Jesse Evans and Isac Osterstrom arrived and joined Ben and I for some creek side coffee.  We chilled out and enjoyed the crisp morning air before we headed up the hill to climb.

While the four of us were climbing we heard a faint ..... kkkaaaaakkaaaaaaaaaaa in the dense forest.  It was about 11:30am and we were trying to guess who was coming up the hill.  We replied with monkey sounds, the famous raven call (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpApJr53Sgo and Ben's crazy loud aussie call.  Joel Sheppard, Kerwin Lukusa, and Emily Boling arrived minutes later and joined us for a day of expouldering.

Overall it was an excellent weekend and the weather held until around 5:30 Sunday evening.  Below are a few photos from the day's expouldering adventures.

Every time we chalked up we could see a cloud of chalk float away...  Ben was pretty stoked on this affect so we took a few pictures.
